InD'Scribe Conference

I spent a long weekend in Burbank California at the InD'Scribe Conference attending great classes taught by Catherine Bybee, Jennifer Ashley, and more.

Me with bestselling author Catherine Bybee... it turns out we're agent "sisters" which means we have the same agent. So I'm dressed up for a costume party (if you were wondering).

Although I've seen these ladies' books all over Amazon, this is the first time we were able to meet and get to know each other. Becky Monson is on the left and Jennifer Peel in the middle.

A pretty big surprise awaited me at the RONE awards. I won for Best Anthology with the All Hallows' Eve Collection, written with Sarah M. Eden, Annette Lyon, Elana Johnson, Jordan McCollum, and Lisa Mangum. 

Another nice surprise when I was able to have dinner with long, lost relatives that I rarely see. Frances Pumphrey and her mother came out from LA to visit.
