Some exciting news. Announcing my first ever book launch (it's about time!) for Women of the Book of Mormon.

Information in the beautiful invitation above.

There will also be refreshments!

AND . . . everyone who purchases a book will be entered into a drawing for a copy of one of the following bestselling books:

Band of Sisters by Annette Lyon
Devils Food Cake by Josi S. Kilpack
The Hourglass Door by Lisa Mangum
The Hidden Branch by GG Vandagriff
A Far, Far Better Place by Anita Stansfield
Dangerous Connections by Julie Coulter Bellon
The Ball’s In Her Court by Heather Justesen
All the Stars in Heaven by Michele Paige Holmes
Saving Madeline by Rachel Ann Nunes
Famous Family Nights by Anne Bradshaw
Spires of Stone by Annette Lyon
Winds of Hope by Anita Stansfield
Women of the Book of Mormon by Heather B. Moore
The Bishop’s Bride: The Honeymoon’s Over by Elizabeth Watkins
Worldwide Cookbook: Mom’s Best Recipes by Deanna Buxton
And MORE!

Also, Women is #7 on the Deseret Book's 10 Ten Bestseller's list today.

And . . . I attended the Storymakers Conference this weekend. No, I didn't win the Whitney Award, but it was great to be a finalist. A shout out to GG Vandagriff, author of The Last Waltz, who took the Whitney for Best Historical. You can read more about the evening HERE in which David Wolverton/Farland took the award for Best Novel.

I had a reporter, Michael De Groote, from the Deseret News in my workshop. Talk about intimidating. But his write-up was a riot. This is what he had to say HERE.

I also gave a briefing about hosting agent Laura Rennert from Andrea Brown Literary Agency HERE. I have a picture as well!

I was looking for your launch info. I really want to go, because I have a few books that need signing and I think I need one more copy. Just not sure if I feel up to the drive (gas, all the kids, and everything) from Tooele. I'm a wimp, I know. :)
