WEEK #4 Winner & TJ Bronley

Congratulations to Krista! She is Week #4 winner. Krista, please email me at heather at hbmoore dot com.

Also, thanks to TJ Bronley, who posted his review of Women of the Book of Mormon here. He's the second "male" to read my book, and I'm happy that he enjoyed it even though it's primarily geared toward women. Thanks TJ!

In other news, I just returned from Monroe (Utah) where I did a stake fireside presentation last night. It went really great, and I was amazed at how many people turned out. I guess that the town of Monroe isn't so small after all--although they only have one church building. I have several ancestors buried in the Monroe cemetary because it's where my great-grandfather and other relatives lived.

Now, I'm confused why 'male' is in quotes up there? But yeah, I read it, enjoyed it, and reviewed it. And my wife looks forward to reading it as well.

Okay, I guess because it will be marketed to women primarily, but you know, a student of the scriptures is just that--male or female. Maybe I was just seeing if you'd notice! LOL!

Heather,

There are so many good books in the LDS literary market (I'm finding out) that it is hard to keep up. Be patient. Glad you had a good time in Monroe. My GG Grandfather was sent to that area by Brigham Young to help settle the area for the early Saints. He is also buried in the Monroe cemetery.

I met a whole extended family of Moore's down there, Charlie. Maybe you are related.
