November 22, 2008 - Redwood Seagull Book - Tailgate Party
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. I’ll be signing copies of ABINADI at the Redwood Seagull Book. 1720 South Redwood Road, SLC, UT. Several authors will be there throughout the day, and the store will be hosting a tailgate party for BYU/Utah game. So wear your red or blue! (I’ll be in blue, but my daughter will be in red.)

I LOVED reading ABINADI! It was so good I could not put it down. I read it in 2 days, because I had to stop now and then to take care of my family.
I really liked how Heather brought a familiar scripture story to life. I enjoyed the chapter notes at the end and frequently got my scriptures out to read about Abinadi in the book of Mosiah. I loved imagining more to his life than what is written. I always wondered if he knew that Alma believed his words. I think he did! I recommend this book to anyone who loves to have the scriptures come to life!

I missed you at the signing by a few hours. :-( I was there at 4:00. I think people were content to stay home and watch the game, but I got to chat with Edie and Angela Eschler, which was fun.
