This was an excellent book about a time in history that I knew very little. I loved the character, Donaldina Cameron, who was such a courageous woman. Thanks, Heather, for bringing light to this true story about sex trafficking and slavery during a period of dark history of our nation. Huge thanks to heroes like Ms. Cameron.
