Help me choose a cover image!

Recently, Brekke Felt did a photoshoot for my book CONDEMN ME NOT, which is the story of my 10th great-grandmother Susannah North Martin, who was hanged in Salem, accused as a witch. We used my daughter for the cover model and because I'm probably looking at the images with "mom" eyes, I need feedback! I've narrowed it down to the 4 images below. Let me know your vote in the comments!

I'm partial to the first one.

The only one I would not use is the last one because the chains are blatantly modern and take away from the time period you're trying to recreate.

I like all but the last one. #1 is the spookiest, #3 is the most dynamic composition- it has movement. #2 showcases the dress the best and I like the hint of face.

#3 jumped out at me. It would grab my attention sitting on the shelf at the
store or looking at books on Amazon.

It's a tie between #1 and #3. Both do a great job of catching your attention.

I like #3 the best. The dress looks too modern for the time period and in 3 you can't tell as much. #4 works for the same reason, although, the chains do look too modern.

I like #1. I like creating characters in my head not having a preconceived idea of what they may look like.

I love #3 given what you told us about the book.

3 is it for me! Although the others are lovely!

Guess I'm different, but I like #2 best because it shows off your beautiful daughter best. And the partial face is intriguing.
