Fabulous Night in Ephraim
Last night I spent the evening in Ephraim with the Gypsy Writers. It was a fun night, and I loved meeting everyone. Shirley Bahlmann was my lovely and gracious host, and she really rolled out the red carpet. Thanks Shirley! First we had a potluck dinner with Shirley's writers group. I was very impressed with the books they were working and the insightful questions they asked. Then the "public" showed up, most of them writers, and a few tag-along spouses. It was a great group and I feel honored to have been among them.
As you can see from the huge pink sign, I brought my family, and they were also able to visit my niece who attends Snow College nearby.
I was amazed at how many talented writers Ephraim has and wish them all the best of luck! They also presented me with the fabulous GYPSY WRITERS AWARD. It's sitting on my shelf right now. Thanks a million!

Sounds like you had a great time. And how fun to see your name in lights! :)
I love those guys! I am so glad you had a good time!
How fun, Heather! Tami, that's the phrase I was thinking, wow- her name in lights! Very cool.
Yeah--if any of you get a chance to go--do it! I actually bugged Shirley to come down and she was booked several months out with guest speakers. She is really a class-act hostess :)
